INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCES

The International Conference began in 1994 and brings between 300 and 800 economists from around the world together to share the latest in research and methodology. This conference offers an exciting opportunity for the exchange of ideas amongst economists from both sides of the Pacific.

Generally held late March to early April, International Conferences run two to three full days and one to two half-days of sessions concluding with a half-day tour or sightseeing adventure.

Consider hosting a WEAI International Conference and bring your college or university to the attention of top economists from around the world! WEAI has partnered with top institutions for hosting the conference such as University of Melbourne (Australia), University of Newcastle (Australia), Pontifical Catholic University of Chile (Santiago), Nanyang Technological University (Singapore), Victoria University of Wellington and Massey University (Wellington), Keio University (Tokyo), Queensland University of Technology School of Business (Brisbane), Ryukoku University (Kyoto), Peking University Guanghua School of Management (Beijing), and Academia Sinica (Taiwan).
