For non-economist guests over 18, registration is $50. Guest registration only valid for NON-ECONOMISTS NOT ON THE PROGRAM. Registered guests will be audited regularly and automatically canceled if found to include coauthors and/or professional economists. Questions? [email protected] .

Policies: Program participants must register to remain on the conference program. Everyone over the age of 18 must register, including spouses and adult guests. Badges are required at all conference events, including sessions, coffee breaks, receptions, and special activities.

Take time to relax, renew old acquaintances, and make new friends at the WEAI Welcome Reception. There will be a cash bar.
Presidential Luncheon and Annual Business Meeting | Monday, July 1, 12:15 to 2:15 p.m.
Features an address by WEAI President Janet Currie, Princeton University. Seating will be allotted on a first-come, first-served basis to the first 250 arrivals. WEAI badges required for entry. Registered, badge-wearing guests are welcome to attend the luncheon as well.
Sunset Dinner Cruise | Monday, July 1, 6:15 to 10:15 p.m.
Join us for a sunset dinner cruise on Elliott Bay! Includes bus transportation, scrumptious buffet dinner, and views of the Seattle skyline you can only get on the water. Buses board at the Hyatt Regency Seattle beginning at 6:15pm. Guests will board the Spirit of Seattle at Pier 55 to enjoy a 3-hour cruise around Puget Sound, with magnificent views of the Seattle waterfront, world famous Space Needle, and sports stadiums. We will also view Bainbridge Island that sits just west of the city, and if we’re lucky, catch some views of wildlife, Mt. Rainier, and a fantastic summer sunset.
Dinner buffet selection includes dukkah-crusted wild salmon, braised chicken with tomato confit and oil cured olives, seasonal quinoa vegetable cakes, lemon and parm roasted fingerling potatoes, chilled spring asparagus with watercress and radish, mixed green salad with seasonal berries, and a variety of desserts. Includes soda, coffee, tea, hot cocoa, lemonade, water, and juice. Beer and wine available for purchase at a cashless bar onboard.
Tickets available for purchase during registration -- adults (13 and up) $169; children (4 to 12) $85; toddlers (0 to 3) free. If you've already registered, login to your profile, click Details on your 2024 registration purchase, click Add Guest/Session+ on the top right side under Order Details, and continue through with your ticket purchase.
General Ticket Information
- Children (of all ages) must have a ticket for all special activities.
- Any special activity ticket(s) will be included in the registration packet you will receive on-site.
- Space is limited for special activities.
- Please purchase or reserve all special activity tickets by June 1.
- Cancellations for special activities must be made in writing by June 1 to receive a refund. We are unable to give refunds for late cancellations.
